MOON PEACH

MOON PEACH PENDANT

On our epic trip to Ishigaki in May 2024, we saw this tropical plant growing all over the island. Before the vine blooms it seems to be carrying alien looking pods which are so striking and beautiful

The  MOON PEACH PENDANT is inspired by the Okinawan getto (月桃) flower, also known as shell ginger — one of the region’s most iconic and seductive blooms. Its pale buds unfurl to reveal vivid orange and yellow stripes and a frilled, intricate centre.

We’ve reimagined this stunning form in gold and marquise cut Australian sapphires, capturing the flower’s lush curves and layered textures in a piece that feels both botanical and otherworldly.

Materials: 18K yellow gold, Australian sapphires

Build notes: hand build
