Ten years ago, I pinned up a notice at our local jewellery supply joint, Koodaks, looking for someone to help me and my friends improve our soldering skills. Eva had recently arrived from London to start a new life in Australia. She answered the ad.
Eva taught at the Corky Saint Clair School of Jewellery for several years. I asked her to make me a ring with crossbones. One ring led to many more, and eventually I asked her to join Corky Saint Clair full time.

Eva is our goldsmith and the master craftsperson behind our hand builds and engraving masterpieces. Anyone who has visited the shop has heard me call her a genius. I always say, ‘It’s fine. Tell me your concept; Eva will finesse it and make it look amazing.’ And she always does!
To celebrate our Ten-Year Anniversary, I designed the chunky, bubbly ring in the second photo for her. It’s built in 18K yellow gold with a 1.5 carat oval cut diamond.

Working together for a decade is an achievement. 👏👏
Beyond all the incredible jewellery we’ve made together, I’m grateful for ten years of growth, conversation and companionship. It’s been a wild and wonderful ride. ❤️❤️
