ACHERON II SAPPHIRE
ACHERON is our clean, modern take on the classic 'Toi et Moi' ring.
The 'toi et moi' ring, translating to 'you and me' in French, has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. This design became particularly famous in 1796 when Napoleon Bonaparte gifted a 'toi et moi' ring to Joséphine de Beauharnais. Traditionally, this style features two stones symbolising the union of two souls, often with different gemstones to represent individuality within togetherness.
This sapphire exhibits a beautiful interplay of colours, featuring a dominant colour of dove blue that is enhanced by vibrant teal flashes. These hues shift with the light, creating a dynamic and captivating visual effect.
Choosing an Australian sapphire for your ACHERON ring adds a unique and ethical touch to your jewellery collection. Australian sapphires are renowned for their stunning colours and exceptional quality.
This sapphire was found in Rubyvale, Queensland. We have paired it with a natural white diamond, creating a romantic dynamic and a ring that is visually striking.
The ring build is platinum.
