NUBIA I SPINEL

At our Melbourne studio, we take great pride in creating handcrafted jewellery that showcases the beauty and artistry of traditional techniques. Our latest creation, the NUBIA beaded necklace features stunning natural cobalt blue spinels and hand made solid 18k gold beads.

The dynamic colours of the necklace , pays homage to the use of gold and cobalt blue in ancient cultures such as the Egyptians and the Byzantine Empire. Cobalt blue was a favourite colour of the Egyptians, symbolising both the heavens and the Nile river

Each bead in the NUBIA necklace has been meticulously selected and strung by hand, with careful attention paid to every detail. The findings and clasp are also solid 18K yellow gold.
