Carolyn came to us to customise an IMMORTELLE ring in platinum. The brief centred on the sapphire. It couldn’t lean too blue or too green, needed to sit just under 10mm, and had to hold its own beside six diamonds.
Most stones failed on tone or presence. We kept searching but could not find one that met all her parameters, so we had a sapphire custom cut. It shows a balanced mix of green and blue with enough life to carry the setting.
