These Herkimer Minis have a remarkable clarity and beauty.
"HERKIMER DIAMONDS" are double terminated quartz that are only found in upstate New York. They are called "diamonds" because they are unusually hard and clear (about as hard as an emerald). Herkimer Diamonds are uncut stones; they come out of the ground with natural faceting. Each one, regardless of size, has 18 facets.
Each stone measures just under 1cm and is presented on a 45cm gold plated sterling silver chain or locally made solid gold chain.
