ELARA III SAPPHIRE

ELARA is built around a sculptural crescent in solid sterling silver.

The curved surface catches and redirects light as the piece moves, shifting from bright to matte across its arc. Set into the crescent is a natural Australian green coloured sapphire in a star setting, a traditional technique where fine cuts in the metal draw inward to secure the stone and create a radiating pattern around it. 

ELARA carries a nocturnal character. The crescent connects to lunar forms recurring across ancient jewellery, astronomy, and myth.
