LAKE OBERON is set with a 1.1ct Australian sapphire sourced from central Queensland and cut in New South Wales. The oval stone measures 7.1mm × 5.2mm and displays a rich ocean blue with flashes of teal and cool, steely blue. Dark midnight-blue facets frame the stone, while softer, smoky blue tones emerge through the centre, creating a striking contrast between light and dark.
The sapphire reveals different shades of blue with every movement, shifting from deep, inky tones to brighter flashes of teal-blue as the light catches its facets.
The sapphire is flanked by two natural white diamonds in a classic trilogy setting. The 18K yellow gold band features fine hand engraving with a flowing Art Deco feel.
Australian sapphires are known for their earthy tones, natural richness and strength. Their durability makes them ideal for everyday rings. This piece is named after Lake Oberon in Tasmania, whose deep waters and alpine stillness echo the mood of the stone.
