VIRIDIAN

VIRIDIAN features an Australian green sapphire cut in an angular trapezoid form that feels both precise and sculptural. The gem moves between deep forest and lighter olive tones, shifting with the light across its sharp facets. The sapphire is from Central Queensland and weighs 0.92ct and measures Longe edge 7.95mm x short edge 4.09mm.

Set in a minimal four-prong mount and suspended from a solid 9K yellow gold chain, the pendant has a clean, modern presence that highlights the unusual geometry of the stone.

The name comes from viridian, a pigment prized by painters since the 19th century for its clarity and depth of colour. In this pendant, the green sapphire carries the same associations of renewal and balance, grounding the piece in both natural beauty and artistic tradition.
