SAN CRISTOBAL is hand made in 18ct yellow gold, set with a 0.8ct Australian sapphire. Hand engraving extends around the band, with repeating leaf motifs framed by fine beaded borders. Each engraved cut catches the light, bringing movement and texture to the gold.
The sapphire sits within a scalloped setting, its rounded gold edges contrasting with the straight lines of the stone. The scalloped sides give the setting a sculptural character, adding detail beyond the face of the ring.
Recalling Renaissance ornament and antique ceremonial jewellery, San Cristobal brings these historical influences into a modern design. The sapphire’s clean geometry and east–west orientation balance the decorative engraving, giving the ring a strong contemporary feel.
